What are Teambuilding Programs?
Teambuilding programs are designed to meet your group's needs. These programs can include group games and initiatives, as well as low and high ropes elements. The process begins by learning more about your group through our Teambuilding Program Notes document. This information is passed on to our facilitators who will design a sequence of initiatives to bring your group together and set the tone for working on group and individual goal setting, group dynamics, communication and of course fun!
Teambuilding programs are also intended to relate directly to your program outside of the Sargent Center. This is accomplished through the use of Framing and Debriefing discussions. Our facilitators work with participants typically in group sizes of 10-15. Teambuliding blocks usually last for 3 hours at a time. Group leaders are given the opportunity to decide how they would like their groups divided, the level of mental, emotional, and physical challenge they would like participants to experience. All programs are facilitated through a "challenge by choice" process that allows both the group and the individuals to choose methods of participation that are suited to their comfort zone and abilities.
